I saw a Craigslist ad for two 2284 Supers. 2 Supers, two Haban 60 decks and one configured with the front ports and a 54 inch blade.
I called and chatted with the seller for quite awhile but the first ask was more than I wanted to spend. A week later the price was lowered to $3950 and I called and we agreed on $3800.Some minor, I hope repairs and some cleanup and I'll be a happy camper. I've never seen front hydraulics on a Cyclops, the addition required 4 different upgrade packages, new console, spool valve blade and carriage, really pricey.

Those were the end of an era. They were beasts for sure. Nice find!

I bought a 95 and a 97, just realized this morning the one I already had was a 96, Royal Flush!
Maybe paid too much but what could I get today for $1900 and am a huge fan of the Supers.
Of course I'd have a lot to choose from in the used Cub market but I've owned a 2284 for ten years an it has never seen a dealer for any service.
