By the time this unit was built (1988-1989), IH was but a recent memory and CCC was in their 2nd series of production, 1985-1989.

Even though MTD produced it, it is an IH design, just optimized with a much better engine and power steering. These were one of the best to wear a Cub Cadet nameplate!
