It pretty much sounds like it runs out of gas. It is not like you would turn the ignition off. When I get time I will take the carburatur off and check the float.

I have a 982 with a 19.9 onan engine in it which runs great except for one problem. When we mow on a slope leaning to the right it stalls as if it doesn't get any gas.It seems to react the same way whether the tank is full or 1/2 full. I have another 982 with the same engine and it doesn't do...

    Cub Cadet model 1912

Thanks for all the info on wiring diagrams. As many times as I have been on this site I never realized there was a seperate item for wiring. I bought this 1912 from Madsen's service about 3 weeks ago. I asked Scott about it having a Kohler M18 engine in it instead of the Onan, he said that some...

    Cub Cadet model 1912

Does someone out there know where I could find a wiring diagram for a CC 1912 tractor with a Kohler M18S engine with electronic ignition. Any good info for this model tractor would be appreciated. I would also like to get a hold of a good service manual for this.

You guys out there that are having trouble removing steering wheels I thought I would share my experience. I estimate I must have removed steering wheels at least 20 times with no problem and some of my projects were quite rusty. All CUB CADETS by the way. I purchased one of those bolt/nut...

I recently purchased a power steering unit from an 1862. I would like to put this on my 982. Will the steering column fit on a 982 just like it is or do I have to make some modifications to it. Some good info here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Cub 169

Just thought I would let you cubbers know that I was fortunate to find a 169 finally. I probably paid too much for it but I don't know when I might get another opportunity to get another one. It was truly a piece of junk when I got it but it sure is pretty now that it runs and has been...

I am looking for a good used hood to replace the one on my spirit of 76 tractor. Previous owner decided to cut a large portion out of the bottom so he could install a light underneath. Any one of the following models would work. Cadet 76, 81, hydro 80,111,182,282,or 382. Thanks.

In response to the guy that wants to take an engine out of a cub cadet. I would also suggest that you jack the front of the tractor up high enough so that you can tilt the front axle down. This makes it easier to get at the 2 bolts that are located in the front axle channel. When doing this I...

To the person with the ported transmission question. I recently restored a 169 with ported transmission and it had plugs in the ports. As you may or may not know when the 169's were made IH was short hydraulic valves so some of them came without hydraulics but they all had ported transmissions...

I have for sale a model 364 2 stage snowblower with all mounting hardware and drive belt. It came off of a 782 I bought to restore. I have no use for it as I already have QA 42A and 2 450 snowblowers. Asking 250.00 for it.
