Kendell: I haven't found anyone with a Cub Cadet in the Netherlands yet... I've taken of the starter and will have a look at it tomorrow... hopefully I can find it myself, although starters and alternators are not really my thing...

Last question before I go to bed... (it's 0:20 here) Can I damage the unit if I operate it with not enough hydraulic fluid in it? As it's standing on a spot now where I can't get a jack in :-(

Hi Matt, I'm sure I won't be able to get it here... but I'm sure they'll have some kind of hydraulic fluid :-)

Matt, thanks for the quick answer! So... where do I top it up? And with what kind of oil? Best wishes, Remco

Ehm.... oooooops! I wanted to take the hitch of my 123, so I can have it modified... http://images.fotopic.net/ytemlv.jpg When I undid the 5 bolts (bottom center bolt is hidden behind the hitch-pin in the picture), oil started to leak out :-( Is this the oil from my hydraulic system that...

Kraig, thanks for the picture of the pedestal :-) It looks just like mine, but without the big hole :-))) And thanks for pointing me to that drawing. So... if I find all the parts... what can I use that PTO for??? And is there a similair drawing for the rear hydraulic lift? As I would...

Art, thanks for pointing it out! So the pedestal is the bit where the steering wheel etc is in?

Art, Kraig, what piece of metal are we talking about now? What is the pedestal? I'm not sure what I will do yet, get it back to original as far as possible, or just make it a nice tractor :-) First I'll sort out the hitch problem and use it for a while... it won't be until summer that I get...

Kraig, I don't know what the extra sheetmetal is for... I will try to make a better picture of it. The previous owner says that the hole in the dash is for an hour-counter. He also had an hour-counter to go with it, but it doesn't fit as the hole is too big for it. I haven't discovered yet...

Kraig, I've just made some pictures and put them here: http://arvy.fotopic.net/c1484348.html You can see that I already have a hitch on the back, but it's too far underneath the backplate, so I can't hitch a trailer on to it :-( Best wishes, Remco

Kraig, that looks great! Where can I buy one and have it shipped to NL? BTW, this is my 123: Best wishes, Remco

Kraig, Thanx for the info! I found the little lever to disengage the hydrostatic pump... it's there, but very dirty, so I didn't notice it :-) I guess I don't have the PTO fitted as well as any other equipment. What I do have is a ball/pin-hitch at the back, but it is too far inwards...

Kraig: Thank you for the pictures. It looks like mine is a 123 indeed, only it's been painted over (rather badly) and there are some levers missing: the three on the right side (one with a sticker next to it, one big one with a black handle and the one with a link to somewhere near the engine)...

Hi all, I've bought my first Cub Cadet. I think it's a 123, but the decals are gone, so how can I be sure? And are there any Dutch members here? As I will be looking for parts to restore it... Best wishes, Remco
