David you have to use the hardened washers that go with the needle bearing see Motion industries. The grease notches will grease the needle bearing.

Dave S. 149/DanCo loader rehab project.

David you can make the tractor steer a lot easier if you put a needle thrust bearing between bottom of the axle and spindle. You have take material off the top of the axle so the needle bearing will fit. Did that on a 154 with loader and when done you could steer it with one hand when moving and...

    Number-series LoBoys 154, 185, 184

Tyler I have a 185 with a Woods 59 and i mow in second gear all the time. The trick is to get the engine rpms up to 2650 and it will be a mowing machine. The only difference between a 154 and 185 is the carb and manifold. The difference between 185 and 184is pto and main clutches and grille.

Mr. Plow, posting from Big Steve's house/account.... Just finished testing the 2 bottom semi-mounted plow.....adjusted it for level and depth of cut...took 5 minutes. Otherwise it cuts a perfect 2 x 8" per pass at 6-7" deep, pulls perfectly straight and didn't do anything else to it...

Bernie Idid the thurst bearings on a 154 with a loader on it . It took 2 hands to turn it with no load in the bucket before. After thurst bearings you could turn it with one hand with a bucket full of snow. I did this 2 years ago and still working fine. Did have to remove some material from top...

To put 26" rubber (specifically on a 782) you need 1" spacers under the fender deck, 3/4" under the rear foot rests, and about 1/2" under the front of the foot rests. BTDT bought the T shirt. It clears chains on Titan Tru-Powers, but not by much .... (Mr. Plow on Big Steve's account )
