Cub Cadet 3185 - PTO won't engage
Started the tractor today (Cub Cadet 3185), after mounting new tires, and PTO will not engage. Checked belts - old but not broken, Idler -OK, vacuum actuator -OK. Any ideas? Removed side panel to observe actuator. All seems to engage except belts don't turn. Is there a clutch on front of...- mgardner

Gator blades on my 3185 with 48" deck / mulching kit installed.
OK, now I am sold on the Gator Mulching blades. Just put a freshly sharpened set on my 48" deck with the mulching kit on my 3185 and wow! Can't see the leavings and a nice smooth cut. As I reverse directions across the yard with each pass, it striped out my yard like a pro. I am sold. Anyone...- mgardner

New Cub Cadet Owner - HDS 3185 seeking info + tires
Hello all. I am new to the forum and new to Cub Cadets. I just purchased a used 3185 Cub Cadet with an 18hp B&S engine that was a new tractor trade at an implement dealer.
