    451 snowblower extension bracketa

I just purchased a 451 blower for my 2084 super. The blower came off of a 1641 so I will need the extension brackets. They are NLA so I'm going to make some. Would anyone know dimensions of the brackets? Thanks, Earl

    451 snowblower on a 2084

The price is right and it is in like new condition. The manual does say something about an extension kit #529 (which is no longer available) that is my concern. It seems like the lift rod would need to be longer, but maybe not. Thanks for your help

I have a 125 with a hydraulic unit. The shaft seal behind the pulley is leaking and I have to put a new seal in it. I ordered the seal and was wondering what is involved in taking this apart. Anyone have any advice? Thanks, Earl

I couldn't help myself when I seen a IH cub cadet walk behind snowblower. It looks like it was built in the early 70's. Anyway, does anyone know where I can download a service and/or user manual for this? It is a model 268. I guess it is a 26" cut with a 8 hp briggs motior. Thanks, Earl

Hello everyone. I have about a dozen cub cadets, most narrow frame, but I do have 3 quietline tractors. I have a 1250 (my first ever cub) which has always run great. I use it now for snowblowing only. I also have a 1450 which I restored last year. I recently purchased a 1000 at a garage sale for...

Hello! I am looking at my first original this saturday and wanted to ask if there was anything I should watch out for. I have a 100, 72, 149, 1250, 1450 and a few others, but I am not very familiar with the original. The person I am going to see gave me this description: Restoration Project...

Thanks Andy for your advice. I'll disconnect the drive shaft to see if that eliminates the vibration. The drive shaft couplers were in kind of rough shape so I'll start there. I'll let you know how I make out

Hello. I have a 1450 that I picked up in pretty rough shape. It vebrated real bad when I got it and the engine mounting bolts and motor mounts were all lose. I pulled out the engine and tightened everything down and put it back together. It is better but it still shakes. There is no smoke...

Hello. This is my first post so bare with me, please. I have a 149 that I just purchased a few weeks ago. It sat outside for a few years but is still in pretty good shape. I just got it running and tuned. There is a problem with the hydro/transmission though. It will only move a few feet...
