Thanks for the help! I found another complete working lift arm in my "save for another tractor department". So, I will be able to bring my 122 to Montrose this weekend. Not so much pressure to get the original arm repaired and reinstalled. Thanks again for the help!

Has anyone ever tried to replace the rod inside the manual lift lever on a 122? Mine was stuck; when taking the top (where pushed with thumb) off, it twisted off. Found the washer to keep the spring straight was worn and binding. Would it be easier to find a replacement arm?

    Fall Harvester PLOW DAY "2009"

Sounds like a few people camping this year. Talked to some people at the "Little G Expo" who are coming again this year because they had such a good time last year. Bob is providing the pulling sled again this year; pulling under lights Friday and Saturday evening.

Art- Thanks, I have considered that too, but had these and if the process was not going to be too time consuming or expensive, I was curious about trying it (probably more to see if I could do it). Dave

Has anyone ever tried drilling out the spot welds, to remove the center section of a wheel? I have some JD wheels that I am considering trying this on (to change the offset to fit a Cub). I noticed an ad for spot weld cutting bits in a recent Hot Rod magazine. Pro or Con advice appreciated.

Dennis Yes, the plasma cutter is very nice. It is a friend of mines. He has a very well equipped, always heated shop. The tool that really amazed me was his Milwaukee metal cutting circular saw. I think it is an 8" blade, used like the traditional "skil" saw. Not real noisy, no sparks and...

Experimenting with making a serated plow coulter. Made a paper pattern, then a plywood template. Used plasma cutter, then angle grinder to clean and sharpen the edge. The non-cut portion is 2" the cut out is 2 3/8". A little miscalculation in transferring from paper to cutting it...
