    1863 Amp charge light , when pto is on. After new battery install

    Going to revisit this. Living with this problem for about 6 years, decided to see if I could fix this thing. I mow for about one hour with out shutting off the PTO. When I turn off the PTO, it will not restart. Things I have done. Replaced PTO switch. Replaced voltage sensor and sanded chassis...

    Donald, Thank you for the information. The PTO switch makes sense since the new battery is putting out more voltage than the old one. I will order a switch and give that a try. Also for years I needed to toggle the PTO switch on on off at times to get the motor to crank.
