442 Tiller, Rear PTO, Ruegg 3 point lift

Thanks guys! It's a great unit and has done well tilling food plots, just trying to free up some space. I previously had a JD212 with a tiller and it was like riding a bull, with the weight of this unit it is pretty smooth. And, if I could have adapted this to my Kubota, I'd just have the...

442 Tiller, Rear PTO, Ruegg 3 point lift

Looking to sell as a package. (Tiller, PTO & 3 Pt - NOT THE 982) Firm price of $1,800. All in good working order and still installed on my 982. I use it for food plots, but looking to purchase a tiller for my Kubota. I have rear PTO plates for both cast iron and aluminum rear ends. I also...

Should I clear use a clear coat

I've been painting since the early '80's. There seems to be a misconception in this post. Although there are single stage paints that CAN be cleared, most clear systems are a base coat and clear coat. The base coat is very fragile and needs the clear coat for a complete system. Single stage...

    IH 782 vs CCC 782

Keep in mind also, that the CCC Cubs from 700,000-719,999, still had the CI rear end. The change to Al was at 720,000.

    Confused and unhappy

I've never had a problem with partstree's numbers, and if they are "the exact same interface just packaged slightly differently", it would indicate that they contain the same info. The comment really is contradictory. (The exact same thing only totally different???) I really don't care which...

    Confused and unhappy

Hey Wes - if you got to www.partstree.com and search your 1863, it will list all the attachments (and parts) at the bottom of the screen. It's a pretty good resource for researching parts and part numbers. (Prices are kind of high though!) I have an early 1862 with a 450 blower. The newer...

    Archive through April 30, 2010

I've not had any problems finding parts for my Onan. I do a parts lookup on www.partstree.com and then go to www.jackssmallengines.com with the numbers. (You can also go to www.onanparts.com) The parts are a 'little' more than the Kohlers, but I don't feel they are prohibitively pricey. 982...

I'm a glutton for punishment! Love my Onan powered 982 and my Cyclops 1862! The Onan doesn't even break a sweat with the big tiller. The 450 blower is for the 1862 this upcoming winter. Should be nice with power steering.
