Parts Wanted Cub Cadet 56 Volt Battery Needed

Bought the wife an EGO hedge trimmer. It’s impressive. Will run a long time, couple hours on a charge. And strong, cuts through Salal & Blackberries easily. Considering their electric weed eater but the Stihl won’t die…

    1250

I’m not the first owner of my 1450, but I got it from wife’s uncle who was a CC dealer in Wenatchee WA in the 1970’s. It was one of his demo tractors. When he sold the business he kept a Scout and this 1450. It’s “almost” original. I had it apart a few years ago to replace the cork ring between...

The Restauration of my IH Cub Cadet 127 Hydro in Germany

Awesome job on the refurb Matthias! Also I’ve never seen a vineyard model. I like the photo in your workshop. A workshop looks the same in Germany as a workshop here in the US...just a different language on the banner on the wall!

    Am I a sinner?

Been mowing with this family heirloom 1450 for about 15 years, got it from wife’s uncle. He was an IH and CC dealer back in the ‘70s. When he sold the business he kept a Scout and this 1450. So she’s starting to feel her age, I don’t want to wear her out. Been wanting a zero turn. Was looking...

A great day for mowing on an IH Cub....

My neighborhood is all 2.5 acre lots. My neighbor across the street has at least 1.5 acres of lawn. He isn’t very healthy, his lawn was getting really long, like 6-10”. Me and my next door neighbor went over and gangbanged his lawn a couple nights ago. It was the tallest grass I’ve ever mowed...

    How Cold Is IT?

Sorry for y’all back east. We are almost at the peak of mowing season here in Seattle. After mid June-July 4th it quits raining and the lawns go brown. Then we just mow weeds until September.. Then a few mows in the fall.

How do you care for your underside mow deck ?

Thanks for the concern, I Use jack stands(usually, HeHe). Also a good creeper. I use a small stiff dull putty knife and a hand held wire brush. I’m not a big fan of using water to clean under the deck.

How do you care for your underside mow deck ?

I tried undercoating, it didn’t stay on all that good, seems like it made the grass stick more. so after the slip coating and undercoating wore off I just leave the deck bare underneath, but I scrape and wire brush under there every time I mow. Got in the habit years ago, so now it’s just part...

    Engine hours ?

I wish I kept track of how many times the hourmeter in my 1450 has gone around. I’m thinking it’s on it’s 3rd cycle. Bought the machine from wife’s uncle in 2004, gave him $400. it had sat for years. Gas tank was bone dry. It started right up. I mow about an acre, no snow duty here in Seattle...
