    Sheds and Shops

David, I did my own epoxy coat about 10 years ago with a product from Wolverine. https://www.wolverinecoatings.com/ It has held up pretty well but it will show every imperfection in your concrete. I have never ever had anything that will stick to it or stain it. I would find out what he is...

    Evolution carbide chop saw

I picked up a Rage 2 last year and so far it has worked great. Here it is cutting some 4"x4"x1/4" steel columns for the new shop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PR13sWm1Z4g&feature=youtu.be

    Bolts

Go to Caswell and check out their products. I had great results using their plating kit when I restored a Haban 374 a few years ago. These caster brackets were zinc plated and then dunked in the yellow chromate as they did when they left Haban. https://www.caswellplating.com/ Hit up YouTube...

    GTX2154 transmission oil change

Don't use HyTran. You will never get all the gelled up moisture out of the rear down the road. I run standard Rotella 15W40 in all my machines now.

    Geothermal Heating and Cooling

Kraig, that looks like a very nice install. Around here, you won't see companies use canvas connectors or putting a cross break on any metal. Keep us posted on it works.

    Geothermal Heating and Cooling

Looking good Kraig. Yes, $250-$300/cord here that is split and maybe seasoned if you're lucky and delivered. It's about $200-$250 if I pick it up. Most times you will not get a true cord of wood.

    Geothermal Heating and Cooling

That is awesome Kraig. Variable speed is the way to go. We have done a few variable speed Trane systems and they are outstanding with a great warranty. I'm sure you will be happy with the new system. I like to burn wood too but it gets expensive here with wood going for close to $250-$300/cord...

    Geothermal Heating and Cooling

Kraig, that looks awesome. I'm a commercial HVAC contractor but we don't see much geo stuff down here in Georgia. Our heat pumps work great in the dead of winter when we hit that ultra low temp of +20*. Keep feeding us the pics too.

    My new 1572 diesel

Shultzie, that bracket will need to come off of the top of your differential. Check the shaft that goes from the hydro output to the pto for wear. A few of mine had a lot of slop in the holes. That was a poor design in my opionion.

Shultzie, will you ship if buyer pays for shipping? I'm interested in the 982.

Is there an electrician in the house?

The heaters are probably fine. Volts X Amps / 1000 will give you the KW rating(which you probably already know) I like to use a fused disconnect switch at the unit with the largest fuse rated from the unit tag. Sounds like you saved you neighbor from a house fire.

Is there an electrician in the house?

You need to check and see what the max fuse/breaker size is on the unit tag and go no larger. A lot of companies (here in Georgia) do not use a fused disconnect or breaker at the unit but only a service disconnect. Is it a heat pump or straight electric heat? Probably a good idea to...

    782D red cub cadet electrical

I picked my el-cheapo gr starter off of the bay for my 882 5 years ago for $90 shipped to my door and couldn't be happier. What's wrong with them? As others have said, check to see if you are getting 12v on the solenoid. Mine has a bad connection somewhere and I only get 9v so I keep a jumper...

    2185 oil leak

Ed, you will need to pull the flywheel off to get to that seal. Nothing hard about pulling the engine or the flywheel and it would probably be a good time to clean engine and cooling fins up. Remember that Kohler calls the flywheel side of the engine the front so be careful when ordering parts...
