Frank, thanks for the picture. It looks to me like you must have to drill the hole out larger in the lever shaft. Do you by any chance know what size bolt that is that goes through the shaft?

Hello everyone. Long time, no post. I have a question about my hydraulic lift lever on a 1450. I've searched the FAQs and done a few searches on the site, but haven't found anything. The roll pin broke in my hydraulic lift handle yesterday. I replaced this several years ago and I recall that...

    1641 Cub Cadet info

Thanks Michael. I wondered if maybe something could be done there since that is where the lift rod attaches on my 1450. Does anyone know if the attachments will interchange with a wide frame Cub Cadet such as a 1450? I know the belt width is different for things such as a blower, but am not sure...

    1641 Cub Cadet info

Hi All. I just inherited a 1641 Cub Cadet from my late grandfather. I know virtually nothing about this machine, have no manuals yet, etc. I was wondering how any front mount implements lift because I see no provisions for a lift rod attachment. Also, was a Cat-0 3-point hitch available for this...

Good morning everyone! Could anyone tell me if the pto clutch from a 682 will fit a 1450? I know they have different engines, but thought maybe the pto clutch might be the same.

Hello everybody. The positive (+) wire has come out of the PTO clutch coil on my 1450. The end of the wire is recessed into the coil housing, so I have no way to solder onto the existing wire like I had hoped to do when I took the PTO clutch off to repair the broken wire. I was curious if anyone...

Re: My 1450 problems:I'll try the old condensor and test the new one to make sure it's good. I'll also get a new spark plug in the morning to be safe. Thanks for all the suggestions. By the way I did check to make sure there isn't a blockage in the fuel supply. I took the line loose at the...

Ken- I tried it with a little choke, a lot of choke, no choke... couldn't get it to do anything. I'll check the condensor out and see if it is ok. Thanks.

I'm having some trouble with my 1450 CC. I was having trouble with it bogging down under load a couple weeks ago. I changed the points and condensor and it seemed to run pretty well for a couple weeks after that. The last time I mowed with it, I had been mowing for about 30 minutes, shut it down...

Help! My 1450 is is in dire need of a tuneup. I think the points are on their way out. I don't have a shop manual for this tractor and I really need to get it going before I can have one here in the mail. Could anyone tell me the procedure for installing and adjusting the points on this 14...

Hi Guys! Thanks for the help Dave and Digger. I do have one more question though. Does the tiller use the same mule drive as the mower deck? Thanks again. Shawn
