    I was told many years ago that a battery that had dry cells has the potential to explode when it takes a charge, because the gases that are created make it unstable. This mechanic said to always check to make sure it’s not dry before you charge it. Keith

    Mike and Harry, thanks for the kind words. I took the seat to a local shop that specializes in classic cars and boats. He told me I would get a nicer fit if he put a seam in the cover he also added new padding underneath the cover. I’m very pleased with the results and as the old saying goes...
