    Thanks Digger, can I assume that the upgrade kit for the steering assembly is good for the 1650. Do all of the 1650s have the 70 -782 steering column? Looks like one could almost fabricate on of these? My service manual shows just a cam follower and lock nut? Jim

    On the ISO mounts...Do I need to remove the engine or can I slide them in between the engine and frame. Is there a way to inspect the mounts to see if their shot? Trying to get smart, I'm sure David Kirk has something to say about ISO mounts. Jim

    Friday morning, 34 degrees, as a dare went out to the Cub.....pulled out the choke and within 5 seconds the engine started. Today, change the oil and grease the fittings. These Cubs are really cool. Think I'm hooked. ISO mounts?....need to do some research. Jim
