Charlie, It all went away last week when it went to 60 plus degrees. The cold is bac but no snow yet. Not nice enough to use the rear blade and no white stuff to push with the plow. Hard to find seat time. They stay nice and clean when there's nothing to do though.

JB I emailed about that tractor a month ago. They sent me a couple better picture's of it but I deleted them. If I remember right it's an early 61' it has the light front axle and the collared spindels, and no creeper hole in the frame. I asked her to check the serial number but she sent me the...

Thanks guy's. It works great in the snow just wish it was a little higher. Ray I think the originals are on the top of my list. This is one of the three I have. I have a couple others a 70 and a 100 and my grass killer is a 1282, but I love the "O"s. I just love the looks of them.

With all this talk of plowing with originals, I thought I would post a couple picture's of mine from yesterday morning after I got done moving the 8" of snow we got. Wish I had one of the top extensions, the snow came over the top a couple times.

    1282 Paint

I believe that there are some early one's out there that were put together with left over IH parts and do have the red axles and rock shaft. I have seen them both ways to but I would say if yours is painted black then it is factory and should be repainted black. Check with Maple Hunter for your...

The red one is an IH built 182 see the IH in the front of the hood, The yellow and white one is a cub cadet built 383 hydro, you can see the ccc on the front of the hood on it. The red one is an 81' and the 383 is an 82'. The red one was one of...

    Cadet 382

Here's a couple pictures of the deck hardware, The two little pins in the front mounting plate are not correct it should have one long pin going all the way across. Looks like someone replaced your hood with a newer 382 hood. That IH sticker on the back below your vin. is a dead giveaway. If it...
