    Im wondering if the tractor will start with pto engaged. or maybe loosen the belt engage pto, then retighten, just to reduce the shock of the thrower drive line.

    That looks about the size of a crush washer used on the banjo bolts on disk brake calipers. you may have some laying around in your tool box.

    I enjoy a good snowfall as well, i go around the neighbor hood and do the older folks drive. We have small dogs so i make a big path in the back yard for them to do their business.

    It works very well in the fresh fallen snow. The two feet the township leaves me at the bottom of the drive way struggles a bit.

    The small gear on my thrower was worn and had a lot of side to side movement. I made a new gear that is two teeth bigger and made it thicker. I machined the wear out of bracket and put thin hardened thrust washers in between the sprocket and the bracket. Also a new chain. I dont notice it...

    As for mounting on the tractor, i would undo the four hitch pins at the thrower and then attach the mule drive to the machine, using the frankenstien bolts and making sure the quick attach is latched.     i have a 127, when changing oil with the mowing deck on the oil can get on the belt. i just cut the bottom of a plastic bottle at an angle to make a funnel to redirect it to a drain pan.

    Your 106 looks nice.How do the wheels vs skids work on the thrower. I need to rebuild my skids this year but the wheel idea is interesting.
