Here are a few more picures from the dealer show. I drove and mowed with a diesel powered M60 Tank commercial ZTR and the new 45th edition GT 2550. Both were very cool and the quality on the 2550 was awesome. The thing was way easier to use than any of my mid 1980s and earlier Cub Cadets. But I am not getting rid of them.

Hank, thanks! Ooooo I could sure use one of those Compact Utilities.......

Kraig -- those compacts were pretty cool. I guess the guts are by Kioti's mother company and then the rest of it gets assembled here. Something like that anyway. Fit and finish was excellent. And welds and stuff on the loader and backhoe were artful in my opinion. They use alot of robot welders which might be the case on those pieces -- not to say that a human can't make beatiful welds.

Charlie --

I never asked, but what I know about magnolias is that they drop leaves and fruit every day and are "messy". So I thought that might be why. I thikn there were some little twinkly lights in that netting too. In fact at one point I thouht is was just lights...netting to force the shape. This place obviously has alot of money to do stuff like controlling a tree with netting...57 climate controlled acres under glass with 3 different "habitats" more or less.

I would hate to see their utility bill.

Hank

Hank, I wouldn't mind seeing their utility bill, but I'd hate to have to pay their utility bill.)

I like that self-supporting cub lift. Gives me some ideas for my limited garage space.

The problem with that 2550 and all the other new styles is that you can't set your coffee or tools on the hood. What good is that?

That is true Kraig -- although I might faint over the size of the bill.

Jim That lift was plain cool. I should have snapped more pictures, but I was always in a rush to get back to my "booth".

It would be the ultimat though. No more propping the tractor up on a tire, lying on the ground hair (or hairless in my case) in the oil spot trying to get a wrench on Kentucky-Ken's pin tool (nothing wrong with the tool, just the clearances that the engineers left us) and leaving knuckle skin all over the place. I would rather leave knuckle skin while standing up...or even while sitting in a roller chair.

Jim E., that's why they have a cup holder and storage bin built into the fender.)

Kraig, I mean for when you need a place to set something down in a crowded garage or when you are standing around bs-ing. I usually store things on my 682 when it is parked inside.

Jim E., yeah I know, but I couldn't resist pointing out the cup holder and storage bin.)

Kraig, If I had the bucks I would like a 2550 and then put a x82 style fiberglass front on it. Best of both worlds good looking and a cup holder too.

The NEON Cub Cadet sign would look great in MY garage...

The flip up hood design of the "Darth Vader" tractors will be expanded to the other series in the future, my CC spies say.

Jim E......The lift is made by Heftee. We have one here at C&G. It is awesome!! Going up...."3rd floor, mower decks, hydro filters, ladies lingere".....did I type that???
