1210 Cub Cadet problem-Please help a newbie out

I have a 1210 Cub Cadet Hydro and I was mowing with it today and hit a wet/thick spot and smoked and shreaded the belt. I have a new one but no idea how it hooks up. Please help me ASAP, its about to rain soon and id like to finish cutting before it does. Thank you to everyone whom reads this and can help me. Brian

We can't help you with so little info. There's shaft drive and belt drive 1210s.
Any chance of a pic so I can see the belt setup ?

Brian, is the drive belt for the transmission or for the mower deck? As KENtuckyKEN already mentioned, we need more info to be able to help you.
