Ted- I was told by someone else here that since a blower does not require any down force an easy replacement for the lift rod is to use chain. I am using a cable with clamps on my QA36A and it works well and easy to adjust for height.

Well just got back from 2 weeks in Phoenix and no snow here in Mi. I was hoping to fire up the 1200 and blow some snow but looks like spring with all the green grass and rain. And a special thanks to G. Ide for the nice new skids for my QA36A Hope everyone had a safe Holiday

1' to 3" tonight in mid Mi. and snow on and off the next few days. Looks like one last time to use the snow blower before I take off for Phx. Az. for a few weeks of sunshine!

Does not shear the pins right away usually after one or two passes over the driveway (150 ft driveway. I was thinking maybe I was shutting the blower down while there was still snow in the unit, but still sheared a pin when the unit was clear. Could it be that I am engaging the blower I full...

Ok guys having trouble with the 1200 again though not the creeper this time. I have a QA36A blower and changed out the pulley to a 3 inch and new belt. So far I have had to replace 3 of the shear keys in the pulley and the blower it a lot noisier. I changed the 3 inch pulley to a 3 ½ still...

I am not a fan of the belt drive tractors either, but did have great luck with my dreaded 1100 for over 3 years. It had sat in a barn for over 10 years and when I added freash started right up. Defiantly not the best there is but better then most other brands out there now. Mowed 3 arces, hauled...

Good morning all. Received about 4" of fresh powder last night. Had to get up early and go to work so can't wait to get home and put the snow blower on the 1200 to the test. Blew a few inches a couple of days ago without engaging the creeper which was really not enough snow to judge how she...

Kraig / Bryan- Thanks for the info on the pins. Think I will have to go the next size up 7/32. Can't have too many of these around it seems.

Well I tried the 3/16 roll pin I got from ACE last night and found that the hole in the lever is to loose to hold any 3/16 pin now. Went the next size up and it's too large. I will either have to drill the lever and yoke hole to the next size or find a in between size pin. Was too cold in the...

I'd rather drink beer. I DO understand that it is not the correct part it just that I need to get this Cub running for a few days until I can get the correct pin.

That is correct a roll pin. I really don't think it will make a difference since I am not using it for the gears or such just with the shift lever and I need this Cub up and running. My dealer is closed for a few days and then I can get the correct pin. I am getting pretty good at pulling the...

Kraig, Just got back from ACE and picked up one of each just to be sure. I was also wondering where the cotter pin goes? I have torn this thing apart so many times the last few weeks thought I knew where all the parts went. Thanks guys!

Kraig- That's the one! It looked solid because it seemed to be rubbing against the part number 10 in your previous posting. Would you happen to know the length of it? Ande is suspost to ride up in the grove of part number 10 like it was?

Kraig- This isn't one of the roll pins that goes through any of the gears. The shift lever goes through the shift yoke and is attached to the yoke with this pin. This pin is not shown in the diagram you posted or any other doc I have. When I pulled the oil drain plug the pins fell right out into...

Ok guys need your help again. What size and or type of pin is it that goes through the shifter lever connecting the lever to the shift yoke inside the creeper? Darn thing fell out again! Expecting 4 inches of snow tomorrow and my dealer is closed this week.
