PBell - Thanks for the info. The dealer actually hasn't been there long. They deal in lots of stuff and the staff is kinda low in experience. They do however treat me good and try to help.

Hey guys. I have a 102 series Cub that needs a head gasket. I can't get much information off the Kohler's engine tag. The only numbers I could get are: C180/684 and 46329D. The head number is 235461. I've been looking in the vault and at Kohler's website. I went to a dealer up the road and they...

Picked up a 102 and 80 series. Questions on the 80

Picked up a 102 and 80 series. Questions on the 80

Wow. No need to get snippy. I was simply looking for a cheaper place to get the belt through, not replace it with an automotive belt. I know there is a difference from automotive to drive belts. Some of us are on a budget. I am planning on selling the 80 to have some more money to put into the...

Picked up a 102 and 80 series. Questions on the 80

The belt number is 954-3007. I'm wondering if I can use this number to order a belt through a friend that gets discounts at an auto supply store. Looks like it is a 5/8" width instead of 1/2".

Picked up a 102 and 80 series. Questions on the 80

Of course now, I'm going to see if I can find the belt cheaper since I don't want to pay $30 plus shipping just to see if the transmission works or not. The guy said it did, but you never know.

Picked up a 102 and 80 series. Questions on the 80

I bought a 102 and 80 for $175 last weekend. The 102 needs wiring and head gasket. Seems like it is somewhat original and all there. The 80 series, needs a drive belt for the hydrostatic transmission. I'm not sure how it goes on since the old one isn't there. The motor was replaced by a 12.5...
