    If you are talking about replacing the seals for the trunnion shaft you need to disassemble the pump. Make sure you read the service manual. One touchy area is removing the roll pins that hold the swash plate. Get it right or you are in trouble. Change all the seals and the case gasket along...

    Jeff That is the engine oil drain line on the 2284. I have a much bigger mower for the yard but it's Orange, Green & Red. The Supers only get used for the small stuff LOL.

    I have a 2182 with 60" Haban on it and I also have a 2284 with a 60" Haban. The 2182 burns less gas than the 2284 and it has plenty of power for the 60" deck.

    As Matt said the 2284 has a 6" PTO. They have two pulleys for the 60 Habans. If you need the older pulley I have one. I put an older Haban on my 2182 and changed the pulley.
