I was thiking of just rebuilding it, but I might just get a rebuilt instead. The thrust button is pretty galled up, thats why I asked if I should ditch the bronze wear button or not. Thanks for all the help for a New Cub Cadet owner. Like I said I fix planes, but this is whole different world.

I called it a button because I didn't know what to call it. Ok Ok, yes the only clutch. I noticied that has worn into the " button " on the clutch itself which leads me to believe that the metal to metal is not good, but why would I throw 2 composite buttons.... ??

Is the Bronze button good to use for the front clutch? I don't want to continue use if not.

I think I have a front PTO clutch problem. I have a Cadet 125 I got from my father which sat idle for almost 10 yrs. The main problem was the " button " to engage the front clutch was missing. My father got the parts, they were a composite type material. When I got the tractor running last...

Thank You, I was leaning towards the regulator. I have a few other problems and questions but I'll wait for another day. Don't want to be annoying asking a bunch of questions. Won't have a lawn in untill next year so no real need to have it running perfect until snow flies in another month or so...

As the sun shines and the grass is green, it was 66.6 VDC. We shut the tractor down with the tester still hooked up and it dropped to battery voltage of 12 point something. Started it back up and it was back to 66.6 VDC. I know it seems hard to grasp... Cub cadets are new to me, how to use a...

Repost from last night: I recently picked up a 125 from my dad. It hasn't been ran in 12 years. Cleaned it up today and got it running. A couple if things I'd like to ask the forum. We tried putting a meter on the battery to see what kind of gen output we were getting. The meter was going...

Tahnks for the information, checked out the site and have only one more question to bother you with. For anyone who has made a front bucket for the cub, how many hours could I expect to put into a project like this and does the bucket come off easy enough for mowing and snow removal? Thank You

I just aquired a Cub 125 and was curious if anyone in the forum had or been involved putting a small front end loader on their cub. I have been looking at the unit that is on the cadplans website, however I am concerned with only one arm supporting the bucket. I like the johnson workhorse, but...
