    Oil soaked Kohler Command 18hp cleaning

    I loaned my 1863 to my neighbor. While mowing the oil cap came off and threw oil all over the motor, frame and ignition wires. The motor turns over but it will not fire. Not sure where to start - do I need to pull the motor and start with removing cowlings to get to the ignition coil?

    1250 Reverse Too Slow

    Changed the front gasket on my 1250 hydrostat and now it will only creep backwards. I just had the pressure relief valves repaired. Still doesn't reverse. Goes crazy fast going forward. Looking for suggestions. Thanks.

    On Cub 1250 - I'm having an electrical problem. Replaced positive battery cable and detached wiring harness to coil/starter. When I try to start the motor does not turn over and I get small amount of smoke from below gas tank shield, possibly the stator?
