Jerry Muncie Good idea with the pulling adapter, might 'steal' your idea. If I understand your problem, you were crushing the lower plastic lip on the steering wheel ? If so, with a spacer added to the top center of the adapter your idea will work. The spacer should contact the metal...

(Jbaker) I just measured 2 frames in several spots each. 128 wide frame, 0.139 including paint. 107 narrow frame, 0.159 including paint Much surprized to find my narrow frame is thicker and it is not just more paint ! I am not sure you can conclude much from just 2 examples. Someone...

Bruce Nolte There is/was a product for repairing automotive foam rubber door seals available from autobody supply shops. It came in a tube (large toothpaste size). As I recall, the part was to be cleaned with acetone or lacquer thinner before application. It would tear the seals before...

frank snerd (Fsnerd) I have a 128 that did the same thing when I first got it, the exhaust valve was sticking open when it got hot, under almost the same conditions as yours, tall or heavy grass. (hay) In your last video at about 17 sec., there is an exhaust flash as it dies (I had to watch it...

Kendell On checking several chemical dictionaries it seems you are correct, neopreMe is not listed. The link below had me 'hooked' until I saw the spelling in the text verses the headline. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa5356/is_200310/ai_n21338772/ Just can't trust the internet ...

Concerning the hydro pump to transmission gasket, I seem to recall that there was a question --- neopreNe or neopreMe, I think it was decided that it was neopreMe. Both show up in a search of the archives, and they are different materials (Google)

I agree, it will not steer with the differential welded up. I have enough weight on mine that it will not spin and it will slide the front wheels sideways (full lock, straight ahead) on mud, snow or wet grass. It is so bad , I have considered chains or studs on the front for snow plowing...

A friend of mine, up until a couple of months ago, worked in an International truck dealership. He used to make up engine O rings (oil proof) from a roll, cut to length and end glued. I would think that any large truck or farm tractor shop should be able to do the same.

Don T You may have trouble getting the extended sump past that bolt. The pin backed out of my 128, broke the front out of the axle mount and I drove over the axle, at speed, fun day ! I had to weld a nut on the sump side and grind it thinner for clearance and put a bolt through from the...

Looking at the diagram just posted, if the charge pump relief valve and the lift pressure relief valve were swapped (assuming that is possible) the implement control valve would never see pressure, as the charge pump relief valve would open, limiting the system to 200 psi. Running the higher...

If it is a BKND, it could be as late as 1996. Mag housing would have the points inside ? If this is allowed http://www.wisconsinmotorscanada.ca/wspecsoldmodels.html Very nice O, and a very clean installation.

Mike From what I can see, it looks like a Wisconsin. If it is, what appears to be a tag below the muffler should be on the magneto housing. Also the spec. tag will be on the fan shroud to the rear, right under your battery.

I just took them out of a 12 hp, the con rod was already out (in pieces) but I don't think that helped anything. I hammered the balance gear pins into the crankcase from the outside.(hammer check, hammer check again), Front pulley was removed. Make sure the crankshaft is turned for clearance...

Charlie; If you really want to lower it; Back it under your 'delivery truck' so the truck frame is over the front of the blade at the cross brace, wedge with wood. Place a floor jack under tractor hitch and carefully lift. The cross brace will bend counter clockwise, lowering the front. It...

Scott Stanton (Sstanton) If that was mine, I would drill out the hole that is already there to clean it up, then go to a size large enough to 'cut' to the 'root' of the threaded section. (Someone else will know what size to use) If you do that, the ugly mushroomed part should fall right off...

First post, Power Lurker !! Tom Smoker re 100, The brake is on the pinion shaft, if it was stuck it would cause your symptoms, but you would not be able to turn the wheels with the input shaft. If you put the tractor down and in gear can you move it by turning the input shaft ? Try...
