Sorry, this engine is a k241 bored .020" over in a 100 that I rebuilt two years ago.

I installed a Kirk Engines billet breather cover over the winter. Last Saturday while mowing the yard for the first time the breather hose had a steady drip of engine oil out of it. There was very little air coming out of it but definitely lots of oil. So I don't think this is a blow by problem...

I've tried searching this, but didn't have any luck. Where do you get a replacement rubber grip for the deck lift handle on a 100? I found a rubber grip for the PTO lever and even the wire bail for float on CC Specialties. Mine looks cruddy and really stands out against all of the shiny new paint.

I just run skinny ags all the time. Funny thing though, I run turf tires on the big tractor. It's off brand though.

Thanks for the help Mr. Proctor. I couldn't find anything in the FAQ's about a pto clutch, just drive clutches.

My 100 did not have the pto clutch anti-rattle springs in it when I got it. After mowing with it like this for two summers I have decided to try adding them. The problem is I don't know how they are supposed to fit. Could someone take a photo of a clutch or explain this to me?

I tore apart my 100 Saturday to repaint and fix a few odds and ends. My wife requested I replace the muffler. I put on a new Stens replacement for the 393840R91 last fall but it didn't make it any quieter than the pepper shaker that I had before. Will the OEM replacement muffler be quieter than...

Speaking of tools, I have been a diesel mechanic for several years, now moved into the office. Over the years I have found little difference in quality or price between Snap-on, Mack, Matco, or Cornwell. (Craftsman is for homeowners) In my opinion, if I am spending the money I want the name to...

Looking for a set of narrow rear wheels so I can put 6-12 ag tires on my 100.

I rebuilt my K241 last summer with all new seals and have now noticed oil dripping off of the governor linkage. I didn't have any extra seals in the kit that might fit there and can't find anything in any parts eplosions. I don't know if it leaked before teardown because I had never seen it...

Here are a couple pics of my 100. I became the second owner of this machine last summer. It had a broken piston that the PO claimed to be original, it wasn't. I have learned a lot reading on this site, only recently joining in on the conversation. Thanks for all the help.

I have a set of Carlisle Turf Pro tires size 23x9.50-12 for sale. I left them on the rims to show that they do hold air. Tires have good tread and are not dry rotted very bad. $40.00 takes them with or without the wheels in Pleasant Hill, MO.

Thanks for the help guys. I chased the threads in the block this summer when it was a bare block. It did not occur to me that the nipple would be too large. A friend of mine owns a plumbing company, he should have a thread machine, or just a die, to fix my nipple.

I have a 100 with the original K241AS. My question is about the exhaust pipe, it only threads in two or three threads. I am using a 1" NPT nipple, are these the correct threads?

Matt G Thanks, when I stand in front of the tractor looking at the grill the engine is turning counter-clockwise. So this is correct. Could my camshaft be out of time?

I have a 100 that won't start. I have spark and fuel, it acts like the engine is spinning the wrong direction. Air is coming out of the carb and the muffler draws my hand when held close while cranking. Is this possible? What is causing this? I have never seen this tractor run so I suppose...
