    Kraig- Yeah, it's bin awhile. Bought a 32hp 4WD yanmar/cub for the day to day and a cub ZTR for the grass, so the ol narrow frames have be neglected as of late (15 years), but I've always got my eye out for something unique.

    Saw this at an auction. Looks like an original but the gear box is different, chain drive instead of belt, grill frame is different and no starter, has a pull start pulley out front

    Question on the offset plug...what's the benefit of using a "new style" head vs hacking up your tins. I ran into the same thing last fall during an engine replacement. I just used the old head and saved my tins.

    KENTucky- Haven't tried to start it yet, it needs an injector and 2 glow plugs. Guy told me that it ran good but the generator end of it wouldn't excite so he split it off for scrap and stold the injector and plugs for another one he had that the Generator worked.
