Well I love her again, 1450.

scraps plus 35 bucks amazon and paint. I can't begin to tell you how much energy you have left when you don't have to wheelbarrow each load.

Well I love her again, 1450.

This is so tiny and amatuer compared to what you guys are doing but you inspired me I made this . The generator keeps up fine and I can lift enough to literally bring the rear tires off the ground......kinda hard on the actuator at that weight though. We mostly fill by hand, lift, drive to...

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

I have some time with it and believe it would do fine in moderate weather with some minor shielding. 20% is pretty good for what i need. Today I was shuttling firewood across the lot, probably 20 loads, and the front was so full that the rear wheels began to come off the ground, and it lifted...

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

that thread seems to be the way to go when I re vist the foot throttle.

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

in short yes. Actually that would be a good use. Trying to make a backhoe would be a bad use. I searched youtube and was FLOORED by how many beautiful and professional jobs people have done on cubs with home made loaders. They make mine look crude in comparison. What I now know about electric...

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

WELL THIS TOOK A TURN! I didnt like the foot pedal and the goal was to turn grade and fwd/rwv with two hands. I went with no hands for the blade. somehow came up with this dump tray or garden loader. Electric list is slow but very strong, will change some angles to increase lift speed. Maybe I...

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

wow good ideas. I needed foot control so that I had a free hand to pull the grading blade lever up and down, instead after much contraptionizing to get to a useable but awkward foot control, I added an electric linear actuator to lift the blade (tiny convenient switch near wheel) and for now...

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

Yeah thats it. I mentioned tying into part 14 in the o.p., that guy did it. I thought I'd be done by now but thats a better way I will just copy it. THANK YOU MUCH

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

this is day two, much better but still need about an inch more travel, the plywood part's work can all be done with a triangle of aluminum plate ., same with the pedal.

can I get some feedback on home-made control pedal development?

Hi. Well I put the grading blade on our 125 for the first time in 20 years and decided three hands were needed. It's hard to change directions while holding the manual blade lift and steering. Did you ever steer a truck with your knee while steering, shifting, and drinking coffee? Came up with...

Kohler on our 125 is stalling

Well it's fixed. I replaced head gasket- no change. Since the spark was strong, I replaced the carb- no appreciable improvement. The fuel line was looking a little slow even though the stock glass "filter" seemed good. SO I replaced the fuel line and filter and YES!!!!!! it runs great. So what...

Kohler on our 125 is stalling

Ok so here’s the update. I opened up the points cover to check the gap. While turning the crank to find tdc for point gap I felt a puff of air in my face....loose head bolts. Tightened them. Started engine and watched the points spark nicely. Engine still shut down after about forty seconds of...

Kohler on our 125 is stalling

Hi. Our 12 hp kohler has developed a symptom. Once in a while it would stall while mowing, as if you turned off the key. It would immediately start back up and often run for an hour or more until we finished mowing. It has now began stalling out after about 2 minutes of run time. Its not the gas...

    steering box adjustment?

Thanks guys! I rotated the follower a little so that the flat worn face isn't totally being the bearing surface. Its an improvement, but the nose of the follower digs into the rack gear if you go too far. Will get new follower they are only about twenty bucks.

    steering box adjustment?

looks like this link helps. I think the slight adjustment is at the cam follower? How to Repair, Improve and Modify the Steering on a Cub Cadet and Other Makes and Models of Garden Tractors

    steering box adjustment?

Hi. I have a 125 and the steering wheel turns almost a quarter turn before any action at the front wheels. I will be checking all roll pins etc., but remember reading somewhere that there a small amount of adjustment available at the steering gear box. Of course a rebuild would be better hwne I...
