Does that spirol pin tool work on gear drive rear couplers or just the hydro rear coupler? I have always used an air hammer on my narrow frame gear drives, but that looks pretty slick.

Hey Jerry, I believe those screw are 3-48. I had to replace mine because the heads broke off when I tried to remove them. I carefully drilled them out with a very small bit. I managed to save the throttle shaft.

Hey everyone. I have a 100 with the large battery box. Does anyone no if IH made a different hold down bracket and bolts for this other than the standard ones? The bolts are too short to reach the bracket and the bracket is too short with a large battery in it. PO has the battery rubber...

I am thinking about setting one of my tractors up to take to one of the plow days. It looks like it would be a lot of fun. I have a sleave hitch, but will have to find an adapter and plow. Is there anything to look for when buying a used plow? I have been watching for a used one, but any one...

Good morning, Does anyone have any experience with rebuilding the deck spindles on a cast end deck from a 70/100? I assume they are rebuildable. I have seen spindle bearings at CC Specialties, but I wasn't sure what deck they are for. Do all the IH decks use the same bearing? I was also...

Hello everyone. I have a question about the choke pull knob on an Original. Is the correct style knob the same as a 70/100, or did they have a different style knob. I have two Originals, but they both have had replacement chokes on them. I want to put the correct style choke back on it...

Good morning everyone. I broke the cast bottom part of the steering column of my 100. I was mowing a steep hillside and hit a fencepost. The front wheel got hung up on the post and I cranked the wheel a little to hard and split the steeing box in two. I have another column that I am pretty...

Thanks guys. I never heard of staking. It makes sense to keep those little screws from being sucked into the engine. I will make sure to use loctite on them. I drilled down through the center of the old screw and extracted it out without enlarging the hole. It was tedious, but it came out...

Good morning everyone, I have a question about a #26 carb off one of my 100s. I was taking it apart to clean and rebuild it, and broke one of the brass screws off that holds the butterfly on. I managed to drill the screw and got it out of the throttle shaft without messing up the shaft. I...

Thanks Lewis. I am glad the 4 piece rings are correct. I like the looks of them better anyway. I am happy to have the set of headlights for my 100. I have been looking for a set for about a year and ended up having to buy them off the evil auction site. Kinda expensive, but they sure look...

Good morning everyone. I have a question about headlight rings on my 100. I have a set that has 4 rings for each headlight. I also have seen them with two rings for each headlight. What is actually correct for a 100? Are the two ring sets the same as the 102/122 series rings? Did someone...

Hello everyone. This is my first post. Up way too late, can't sleep. I have a 100 that jumps out of reverse. It does it really bad when backing up a hill. Is this something that is easy to fix, or is it pretty involved. Thanks
