the cubs running good 62 original,the float was cracked put new one in,had to move the tab on float so it would hit needle no more leaking gas,runs great,thanks to everyone who gave me help with this.

I put the charger on the battery and after a while the coil was very hot,and wet on the top,i thought it was gas from the sediment bowl but it didn't smell like gas,i have 62 cub,been trying to get a spark but have had no luck,any help is much appreciated,thank jeff.

still no spark, original cub cadet 1962 bought new plug today,don't know what to do,there is a spark at the coil,do i hook the condenser to feed side of coil to test the coil?or does this allow spark at plug?because i left it hooked to positive side when i tried the test,i took the wire off...

hi Terry,there is spark at the coil,it sparks when i touch the wire to the coil,tell me if i did this right,I took the wire that goes from coil to points off and used it to get the spark at the coil, i grounded one end of the wire and touched the other end to the coil on the stud that the wire...

hello,I tried the test on the coil,i used the wire that went to the points,I grounded one end and touched the other to the coil,there is spark at the coil when the wire touches it,but is there suppose to be spark at the spark plug? because there wasn't.thanks
