David Schwandt, For my QA36A I use Gates A28/4L300 V-Belt and not had any problems with it. Can find it at most automotive/farm supply store like TSC or Bomgaars(our local supply store).

    Motorcycles....

Well I don't have a fancy Harley but I do have a 1976 Honda CB550. I am the second owner. PO bought it new and before getting from dealer. He had extended forks, king/queen seat. and exhaust put on. It only has 5602 original miles.

I have found that a length of chain works better than a rod. Gives the thrower the ability to float over cracks in the cement a lot easier. Rods (in my opinion) works best when a downward force is needed.

Either way works, I had to install a relay as the amperage was to much for the switch to handle.

    1996 Chevy K1500 Ext Cab

Ken, the chevy's frame was buckling which has nothing to do with welding but a BAD frame. Either way not a good test. Need to start with equal trucks. Unfair advantage was FORD's right from the get go. LOL

Hello everyone. Well Vincent that is a nice looking Chevy but with all those electrical issues, sounds like an ugly can of worms to be opening. As for which is better (FORD or Chevy) Personally I've owned both and neither are bad. Currently I'm driving a FORD and wouldn't trade it...
