    My Cub Cadet 149 speed control lever started to move up on the console, which speeds up the engine. It started this after I replaced the allen screw. Is there someting that needs to be tightened?

    My 149 speed control lever will move up and then the engine speeds up. It started this when I replaced the allen screw. It is probably just tightening something, but I do not know what. Thanks in advance.

    1282 Hydrostat runs in reverse, not in forward

    It works just great now. that I took the valves out and cleaned them. Thanks for the help, Hugh and Roland. Jerry

    1282 Hydrostat runs in reverse, not in forward

    I just bought this 1282 Cub Cadet last fall. It will not run in forward. I bought a new CC filter, drained the old fluid, cleaned gears, installed new gasket, added new Case Hy-tran fluid. It runs great in reverse, but will not run in forward. Any ideas to start with. Thanks in advance, Jerry
