    Charlie C I put a new condenser and points in with the rebuild but used the old coil so it was the prime suspect. I know new doesn't always mean its good (probably from china) so I will try a condenser off a known good motor and see what happens. Thanks.

    PTO switch

    I have had good success with taking this switch apart and cleaning the internal contacts. Dab some dielectric grease on the contacts before closing back up. Good for another 20 years.
