    Jason, if you look under the tractor, as you pull on the clutch pedal, as if stopping the tractor, you should see a push in button switch with 2 wires, unless it has already been bypassed by hooking the 2 wires together

    Jason, 3 possibilities, 1-good ground on new solenoid, 2-power at small wire on solenoid when key is turned to start, 3-clutch safety switch

    did some more cleaning, and yes, the eagle eye guys win, there is a 1 at the end, darn, rats,but it still has the funky oil pan , so I'm still different than the rest

    just picked up an original, need to locate serial #,but it has a 230880 oil pan, according to kohler parts manual, need to get pics also. The oil pan sticks out both sides, over frame with cooling ?? fins on the top of it. Is this a factory option, or a wrong engine transplant Francis in...

    I just picked ap a 582, IH model with cast rear end. Runs kinda ok, compression reads 80 cold, didn't think to check hot,spark seems a little low(not sure how to measure), but if you let it idle, can pull 1 plug wire off and it tries to die, but when pull other 1 off, doesn't make a lot of...
