Can anyone advise on a series 2 tiller issue? I have rebuilt the gearbox, no problems there. I can see a lot of oil has leaked out of the tiller. It came from the other side (shaft and pivot plate) of the big belt pulley. I can't seem to find gaskets on the internet. How much oil do you put...

I see a Mowergraveyard in Jamestown PA. 2 hours from me. They have 2 used in stock $30. Has anyone bought parts from them? I don't want to buy something only slightly better than what I have now... Any insights? If I buy one, would I possibly have to shim the spider gears?

Thanks Nic and Steve, yeah the spiders are way too loose and make noise. I'll start searching for a boneyard. Are you aware of any in the Cleveland Ohio area? Thanks again!

It has been many years since HydroHarry and others helped me with rebuilding my hydrostatic transmission. I hope I'm in the right section on the site. My issues now with 1968 125 are the spider gears. The rear diff is about done. I've searched this site, the internet, B Miller's site and I...

125 hydro rebuild - After searching all the manuals I found the right one. It also says motor swash plate torque to 67 ft lbs. I hope this doesn't screw something up....

125 Hydro rebuild - Is the bolt torque for the motor swash plate allen wrench type bolts (2 of them) really 67 ft lbs or does my manual have a typo? I don't remember when I took it apart, are the two holes for these bolts slightly countersunk into the pump case?

Charlie, Thanks for the link, but sadly I'm unable to open them. It tells me the files weren't saved properly to the CC site. Is the info available any where else? Thank you.

Wayne are you out there? I'm putting my 125 hydrostatic back together. In a prior post you said let you know when I get that far. What are the tricky procedures to put it back together? Making the two pins line up? Thank you.

125 hydrostatic rebuild - Ok, I have my parts to put the hydro back together. Is there any tricky about changing the seals? What other issues or tricks do I need to be aware of? Thank you.

Thanks for the help. I was able to get the trunnion side out. What a pain not knowing it is a two pin setup. This site is saving me. What about the other side? Are there two pins there as well? Thanks again. Wow on the collection!

Thanks Wayne. The pump swash plate still swivels as it would during normal operation. When I drove the pin the sound changed, so I thought it was a stopping point. If you look down the hole the pin appears to be at the depth which would make it centered in the trunnion shaft. Is there any...

1968 125 Hydrostatic help please - After much debate and never ever being able to stay in neutral, I took apart the transmission. Looks like the first it has been apart. The only issues I see are the massive amounts of slop in the transmission linkage (trunnion, etc). So, I need to do...

Thanks Digger - that is what I was afraid of. Couldn't really tell since it is all apart. I guess I'll keep watching ebay for the right size.

Hey guys - I'm a new member, although I've been using the site for a while. A lot of great info! I'm working on my 125, but I've hit a snag. The prior owner let the PTO basket come lose and it damaged the crank in two places. One the keyway opened up and the crank diameter actually worn down...
