    1862 hydraulic leak

    Hey Jay, As I wrote in response to your suggestions, I am thinking it may be easiest to tap the hole and add the appropriate JIC, then have a custom hose made. I am going down that path, unless we find a compelling reason to do otherwise. Greg

    Gentlemen, Thank you for the speedy responses! I think Jay has hit the nail on the head. After replacing the O rings with various sizes, the leak persists. Looks like my best path forward is to rebuild the valve, (found the kit on many sites) and while it is out, I will tap the port for a JIC...

    Hi Gents, I’ve got a great 1864 with one issue…. The hydraulic valve for lift/lower leaks from the bottom port that I can’t yet solve. I have tried to remedy the leak with lots of different sizes of O rings. The 3 other ports are leak-free and the tube entering the bottom port seems fine, but...
