From past experiences I have found the common kohler rod breakage but one time was the piston broke in the ring groove and the top of the piston was at TDC and the bottom was moving as it should

Not sure the exact switch you have but you might check with your local Stens dealer. I have used their universal wiring harness for indak switches for repairs when the switch connector gets hot and melts.

So should we upgrade with the extra disc and get rid of the ball or stay with the original design?
