    Please be careful as antifreeze is attractive to dogs and it will kill them. Many have been killed when a pan or puddle of ethylene glycol has been left after an antifreeze leak or change.

    Can you explain further how to see if the cup is dissolving? Can the fluid be drained and replaced with clean fluid to remove contamination? Can the plastic reservoir be replaced with something that is not attacked by the fluid? I love my 1430 and do not want to see it ruined by the problem...
