    Early original frame

I read in the latest issue of Cadet Connection that early Original frames were almost an inch shorter than later ones, I'm curious when the change occurred and what section of the frame is shorter?

Bit of a slow August, displayed these two at the local 4H fairs and have yet to get back to tinkering on the 100.

    1967 Massey Ferguson 10

Blue ones were Dynamarks and may be the least common variant. AMF was kinda doing the same thing as Jacobsen was with the Minni-mo, Oliver, White and Ford GTs

    1967 Massey Ferguson 10

I actually have the manual for an AMF 1010 that I pulled out of the dumpster at my old job after noticing someone had dumped a bunch of old stuff in it. Ended up speaking with the guy but he said the tractor was long gone unfortunately. Would like to eventually find a massey 10 manual but...

Added a #2 cart to the collection for a really good price yesterday. Seems folks liked painting these green haha

Got the tires swapped tractor to tractor earlier. Figured the 2 ply TSC clearance balloons could go on the tractor that is just for shows.

Since I last posted the 100 I located fenders, front hubcaps, put some heavily discounted tractor supply hi runs on it, swapped a good running 12 horse into it and now after getting a parts 100 in a trade with a butchered frame put a better dash tower and steering box in it.

Little update as the 100 has seen some improvements and I have moved back to Connecticut. Thinking I may swap the rear tires between the two tractors today.

    100 rear tires

I've heard someone say the wider fronts fill the furrow better, but looks wise on a 100 they just feel kinda fat on the front. Maybe it's just the lack of fenders throwing me off. Maybe this winter I'll actually get somewhere with this thing 😆

    100 rear tires

Haven't been able to make much headway this past year which has only made the tire debate in my head worse haha. Putting wide tires on the front has me thinking of going with V61s, but also has me feeling like 8.50s look too narrow with the wider front tires but that's probably just me 🤔

    Weighted up the 100

I'd put them on the wheel first myself. I'm definitely also doing a stud conversion over using the lug bolts on anything I'm weighting up because getting a weighted wheel on and off with lug bolts sucks haha

    Weighted up the 100

Dried out goodyear terra tires which are a slight improvement over the dried out bald who knows what's that were on it

    Weighted up the 100

The standard IH cub cadet wheel weights will actually go on the inside of the wheel if the Cub does not have external brakes
