Ok, I'm no good at jokes, but it's Friday, and maybe this will bring a chuckle. If you have google earth on your computer, open it up for directions, then put in Japan for start location, then put China for destination. In the direction column on the left, count down to direction #43 and...

    Starter Switch Question

Following what Dennis said, I was told, when I was a kid, that you could convert from 6v to 12v, but not the other way around because the 6v system was heavier.(Wiring and non specific parts.) It worked on my 46 chev. PU.

    BP OIL LEAK

Ken- You might have done just the right thing with your plan. Within three days of that wreck, that gov. had set up an advisory board of people that knew the business and situation. I've got a brother in law that was on the design, construction and rigging crew for that rig that went down. He's...

Matt- I don't know the laws in Penn. about lost title replacement, as those laws are different in almost every state. However, since no one is responding yet, I'll throw up one rule that's universal.(personal experiance) No money should change hands, until you know how those laws work, in the...

Thomas Gue- Welcome. If you go up to the top of this page, and click on the "parts look up" box, then when it asks for your model number put in 127, and follow from there, you can get an exploded vue of your tractor. That might help to start with, and maybe later in the day some of the guys will...

Mark G- You might try the "Cub Cadet haulers" section, on the contents page. There's a place there to ask if anyone is going your way, and could help you out. Worth a try.

Is anybody having problems displaying pictures on this forum?

Richard- I think you're on to something with the IE-8 idea. Since we upgraded to that, and without changing anything else on the system, what you describe has been happening here. Also, I've been getting the little boxes with the x's instead of the pictures, which never happened before. At...

Chris- I forgot to mention, The place for adding your message is at the page, so when you open the main forum, ya gotta scroll down clear to the bottom.

    127 hydro

Chris- Ya don't have tostart a new thread on the main forum. Just wade in and post what you want, like you did here, except don't try to start anew. It works, try it.

    Techie Talk

John- It has to do, I think, with someone posting pictures without hitting the "enter" button after each picture. That puts them side by side, and causes the width problem. It gets fixed, usually, but causes much teeth grinding. Anyway, that's what causes the problem, usually.

    127 hydro

Chris W- Your 127 is a garden tractor, and you should post on the main forum, first one at the top. What you're looking for is part of the main reasons, along with help with repair and any other problems you might have with your tracter, for this sight. Read around on the sight, including...

Earl Ford_ Give Binder a call and tell them what you just posted. They'll help figure out what you need, and won't try to over sell you. That's basically what I did, when I first found this site, and didn't even know where the serial no. was, let alone what model Cub Cadet I had.

Kraig, Don T may have come up with the answer, and you may have come up with the problem. I just went out and checked my 4 digit O, and it has the slot. Don't know the prev. history, but am pretty sure it has the original parts, including the small bore K-161, which is driving me crazy looking...

J-D Reaves- Yes, if I remember right, MTD contacted Charlie, and told him they were contemplating a 50th celebration, and that they did moniter the site, and were wondering if we could come up with ideas. Also to see what kind of interest we would show for the project. Most everything on...

Kraig- Don't know if this is what you were asking, and it's just hearsay from a body man about 36 years ago, but here's what I was told about decal placement. Get a spray bottle with some dish soap diluted down ( a lot) with water, and spray the surface with it enough to keep the surface wet...

Carl McBee- No telling when a person in your line of work might find himself over in the Calico Rock area, but if you do, take the time to look up Washington's. It's an old time parts house/ shop and repair/ TV repair shop. All those in seperate parts of the same building.Family run business...

John R- Check the FAQ's up above, just below the pictures. #10 shows you where to look, and #28 tells you when your Cub Cadet was made. You are right that the number you have is a casting no.
