    single cylender . I said 16 hp but it is a 17 hp, I really like the thing so I am hoping to find the problem. It is an older machine but has been a good one. Thanks for your help

    yes the engine turns over but will not start give it a while it will start and quit after it warms up

    Engine turns over just fine, no extra noises from the motor Its like there is a safety switch activated. no spark to the plug. It had run just fine till the low oil and it shut down. give it 3 hours and it will crank

    Had a low oil engine stop on my 2166. added oil back to good level now it runs till the engine is warm and stops. when it cools it will start and run until warm. changed the oil pressure sensor thinking ,well just may be that is the problem, but still stops when engine warms. it has a kohler...
