    Wheel weight ?

In the spring, I have a very wet lawn, where it does leave deep ruts but I'm keeping them on. Yes, it is not the lifting weight, the first bolt that's the trick...

    Wheel weight ?

I agree, with Jack, he is 100% correct, the wheel weights are a huge PIA to get on and off. I would not do it again, and suitcase weights for the rear sleeve is an easier option. The only reason I did it was because I read on this forum that there is less wear for the wheel bearings if the...

    Wheel weight ?

If done the way I did it just add some foam packing padding around the inside of the steel wheel under the plastic bag. There must be a thin space on the bottom and around the inside of the wheel to get the concrete to come out. Also get some plastic around the wheel for concrete overflow...

    Wheel weight ?

I agree that Iron wheel weights are the best. However, I did make some weight weights from concrete that added 50 lb's of weight on each wheel of the tractor. I used the plastic bag system to make the weights with a piece of PVC pipe cut length side for the air valve and 1/2" PVC pipe for the...

Cub Cadet 1450, 3600 RPM does not hold, without holding the Throttle Lever

UPDATE: I removed the Throttle Control (TC) with cable and placed it into a bench vice, I found a Bolt that was the same size as the rivet on the TC. Squeezed the rivet in the vice, where I was able to measure the amount of force little by little, to increase the amount of drag on the...

    QA36A snowblower/thrower wear bar/scraper bar/shave plate

That will probably not work on my Snow Thrower because the bottom blade configuration is different. However, when my plow blade needs to be replaced that seems like it is an improvement to the steel blade.

Cub Cadet 1450, 3600 RPM does not hold, without holding the Throttle Lever

Thank you, I just do not see what adjusts on it unless the PO changed it to a different type.

Cub Cadet 1450, 3600 RPM does not hold, without holding the Throttle Lever

Cub Cadet 1450 RPM not holding at 3600. The Tractor has Walbro Carburetor with the original linkage. The issue I am having is the Throttle Control (TC) will not hold at the highest RPM (3600) when pushed all the up on the dash. The TC slowly pulls back down, when running, whereby the engine RPM...

    QA36A snowblower/thrower wear bar/scraper bar/shave plate

I rebuilt my QA36A Thrower and used an Old Traffic Street Sign Pole, cut to fit. I also reinforced it with a 3/16 X 1.5 inch steel bar on top. It was cut to fit over the Skid Plates, so there is about a 3/16 " where it doesn't scrape. It should last a while.

1450 Cub Cadet Help With Surging Engine

UPDATE: I re-installed the Fuel Tank & Original Walbro (after cleaning), Carburetor. Re-placed Fuel Valve/w filter & Hose, Points, Condenser and Plug. I believe it was a combination of issues, mostly the carburetor needed a good cleaning. The Fuel Tank Shut-off Valve was faulty and filter...

1450 Cub Cadet Help With Surging Engine

I removed the gas tank & found that the Gas Tank Shut-off valve, was not working correctly. It didn't turn off the fuel as well as restricting the flow. The tank was pretty dirty inside, I took a shop rag cleaned the inside & removed the valve. There were so many sediments on the filter where...

1450 Cub Cadet Help With Surging Engine

Cub Cadet 1450 w/ Kohler Cast Iron Engine K321, was running great. Started it, it didn't sound right, started Surging then stalls out. I had new carburetor (on hand, replaced it, in case the older one was dirty). Unfortunately, it did not improve the operation of the engine. I have on order new...
