Looking for snow thrower for narrow frame. Prefer one in less than perfect shape. Can have bad or missing chute, bent/ rusted auger & housing. Want good gearbox, chain, driveshaft, etc. Prefer to pickup in/near Chicago, Milwaukee, or lower Wisconsin. Thanks email: [email protected]

Follow-up from a couple weeks ago regarding a 125 that would peg the needle to drain when keying "start". Turned out I pinched a wire from the safety switch with the bolt that holds the bracket for the chute adjust rod. Dumb-de-dumb-dumb-DUMB!

Thanks, I checked Charlie's site. Can anyone tell me the outside diameter of the standard snow thrower pulley? Is it 4"? 3/16" would be the standard keyway for a 3/4" bore. Sorry, I wish my snow thrower and Cub weren't 130 miles away.

I'm being a bit lazy. I searched the archives a bit, but decided to post. I'm looking for a new pulley for the snow thrower on my 125. Does anyone have the shaft size and pulley diameter so I can buy one thru McMaster-Carr? TIA

My 125 was cranking, starting and running well till I took off the belly mower & mule drive and attached a snow thrower. It takes a bit of bumping a banging to get it on, but not too rough. Now when keying to 'start' I get no cranking, no noise, but amp meter pegs to 'C' (charge). Did the...

Was mowing with my 124 this last weekend and stopped to back it up and then zoom forward in 3rd to knock loose a grass clump from the deck (usually works). Did that and then couldn't get any other gear than 3rd. 3rd is now forward and to the right instead of rearward! Trying to select other gear...

Hi, I'm Noah. First post here, although I've stopped by and snooped around for a couple years. Being a life long city boy I never had use for a riding mower till my family and I bought a rural 40 acres near Darlington, WI. Ended up buying a 124 (I think) w/ mt and about 4 coats of paint on it...
