DT & DF thanks for your help found what I needed in the manual. Is it possible that trying the run the lift cold say 40 degrees might have blown it? I didn't let the transmission warm up. If so how long should u run before using lift?
CUB CADET 1650 LIFT CYLINDER PROBLEM
I have replaced my lift cylinder last year from the guys from R.F. Houtz (Good to work with). That worked great for the summer but blew again is there something that would cause this? I know it was used so just bad luck? Can I find a new or rebuilt one...
Scott thanks for the link to the manual. Thats a different model but looks like the same type of hook up. That must just be they way they are. My top support arms have a bend in them but I have tried them both ways. Humm.
Looking for a manual or some pictures of a snowblower attached to a 1650. I purchased this used and I don't think the guy has the snowblower hooked up right. It only raises a couple of inches off the ground.
1650 Snowthrower Question. I just purchased a '79 Cub Cadet with tiller/mower/snowthrower. My question is that the snowthrower only rises of the ground a couple of inches, is this normal? Or did the original owner hook it up wrong or have the wrong thrower.
I am the new proud owner of a '79 1650 which I picked up with a mower, snowblower, and tiller . The 1650 currently has a leak in the hydrulic cylinder that lifts the attachments is this hard to fix??
