Does anyone know how to install part Cub Cadet IH-402344-R4 (replaces IH-402344-R3) Spring, Latch? I can't seem to fgure it out and there are no youtube videos, at least none I have found. It's part #4 in the attached diagram. Thanks.

"I'm still thinking subsoiler and it's all your fault!" Frank, sorry bout that! I did see the ship weight and shipping for it is half the price again. I'm still thinking it also, I have a trailer for my 108 if I build an armature on back of it I might be able to attach the soiler and stabilize...

Thanks, Here is a link to NorthernTool's subsoiler; http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200518051_200518051 It does not have a sleeve. Figuring how to hook it up would have been the next problem. From the spec it does not seem like I have the hp to pull it. So I'm back to square...

Has anyone used an IH CC 108 to pull a subsoiler? I want to use my tractor to pull a subsoiler through sandy soil to a depth of at least 18 inches. Unfortunatly the subsoilers I have looked at require 20hp. I was wondering if any one has used a 108 to do this?

Help! My Cub seems to be having some problems. The gear shift now has a lot of play in it. I can still get it to shift gears but it points in all sort of directions now. I suspect something broke or came loose. Any ideas?

Kraig, The equipment lift handle was the solution! Thanks! I can't believe I never noticed what it does. It plows like a champ now. Did my driveway in less then 20 minutes. Michael

Jeff, That shot looks like mine! Sorry to confuse things, the springs are not on the lift bar. They are on the bar in front that locks the plow in. Sorry I'm not up on the part times, yet. It was from an earlier post.

Shane, Thanks. I'll check into the lift arm. it's possible something is bent. I bought it second hand a few months ago. I know I need springs on the part that locks it in place. That was another thread here.

Hi guys, I could use some help with my 108. I have a snow plow on it but can't seem to get it to work very well. It will not plow down to the pavement. I check the feet they are not the issue. Today I had a few inches of snow so I tried an idea. I have 80lbs of wieht sitting on the plow. Thar...

Kraig, That's the part, springs huh, I'll have to check again but I don't recall mine having any tension on it. I have to move it to take the mower deck off then move it again to lock the plow in. I suspect I am missing the springs.

Matt G, I did not think about it coming off when I did it but... It is called a push blade, that should have giving me a bit of a warning, however, as my wife points out I can be kinda thick and stubborn. From what I can tell the only thing holding it in, in reverse is the part IH-544170-R1...

Hello, I have a IHCC 108. I have been using the snow plow to level my yard a bit. My yard is mostly sugar sand so it's pretty light. My questions is is there a way to prevent the plow from coming off in reverse? I know I can just lift the plow but if I want to pull anything with it, it will...
