OK new problem on my IH 1000 after putting the clutch in. After it was setting for awhile to me to get around to putting a clutch etc in it. At least a few months. Well now if I leave the on/off to the gas ON to carb it will drain the whole fuel tank onto the floor while setting over night...

Thanks Dave Ross for explaining. Guess I would have installed them had I knew ahead of time. Thats might be part of the reason my old clutch threw the way it did. Took about 15 years to wear like it did, so not bad I guess without them.

What is the purpose of the CLUTCH DRIVING DISC SPRING 932-3018 IH listed in the service manual and where I bought my parts I seen a pic of them for a 1000 IH. Mine IH 1000 didnt have them when taking apart and have no clue how they would go on if I did have them. Was it a before after date type...

Been running these rear tires for 16 years on this tiller pulling 1000. Got to get her up and going again for next season. So where do you guys suggest getting replacement parts as in clutch, small spring on drive shaft, maybe a throw out bearing to be safe. Only thing I wish I had on her...
