    Good Morning All, Having a problem with a Original here. 7hp rebuilt 4 years ago, new everything basicly but it keeps fouling the plug (Champion CJ8, not to crazy about Champion)fires up, idles and runs great but when you shut it down it won't start without a new plug. Plug will have gas on it...

    Mike, some premium and MMO, and load the engine should clear the smoke, my 1250 did the same thing ( parked for 3 years) no smoke now. Glad it worked ! or what Matt said

    Mike, check to see if you have 12v when cranking (or run a jumper from the battery to the coil) I had one with a badly corroded wire at the starter switch, would show 12v in the on position but start dropped it to zero. took 3 days to figure that out!

    Okay, havent posted back on the 1250 with hydro lift,trans and front ports but the guy ahead of me was a no show so I got it! Paid 250, may have been to much but couldn't resist(this suckers big and heavy I'm not!)Got it home, dropped a battery in, poured gas in the side of the carb and it fired...

    The tractor didn't have a hitch on the back but was in pretty good condition (surface rust but no holes) Won't start but has good compression(no spark)Guy wants 250.00 I'm second in line. I thought the front port was kinda odd Thanks Joe

    Okay I have a question, Got a line on a 1250 with hydro lift,trans and a remote port up front(rare?)Can I move the port to the back and run a tiller or is that belt driven and the hydro just moves it up and down? Sorry stupid question Thanks Joe
