Hi all: Been gone for a few days. It sounds unanimous, I'll look into rebuilding the engine. Although I like to build things instead of rebuilding things. In the FAQs I think I read that Hytran should go in the transaxle. Is this true? I had to replace an axle seal and there was gear oil in it.- jvig

Thanks for the quick replies. I have an Ace front tine roto tiller with a 6 HP B&S on it that is well over 15 yrs old and still runs like a champ, so I guess I differ with you on their quality. To me a modern engine has it's advantages such as, it's smaller & lighter for the same HP, built in...- jvig

Hi all: I'm new to this forum & looking for ideas. I had a 124 given to me, the engine runs but not very well, smokes badly & no power. I really dont want to rebuild the engine and am thinking about repowering it with a new Briggs or Tecumseh. The thing is that the rotation will be wrong on the...- jvig
