    hooking up my snowthrower to the 782 i got earlier this year,it now has a 18hp magnum w/oil filter, would like to change the pulley on the thrower but i want to see what it will do as is, but what size was the pulley? is it 3" inside or outside dia. thanks jeff

    chuck, arent those the bolts for the front mule drive, that thread into the outside of the main frame, and the mule drive slides over them? maybe i looked at the wrong bolts!!!

    Hey Charlie, i just picked up the attachments for that 782, 38" tiller,42" snow blade, 42"snow blower, 44c mower deck. already have a line on a used engine came out of a 1810, fell of truck, engine is tight,200 hours. did i do good??

    well im at work, and it's in our shop right now, her son ran it out of oil, thats why it blew, she told me that the attachments were of no use for her, and i said i would send our driver over and pick them up,and get thme off her hands for her, then i told her i could give her $100.00 dollars...

    just got another cub cadet tractor FREE,a red 782 with ag tires,3point adn rear gear box, bad thing is it has a blown engine, not a see through block tho,the lady says she has a mower deck and tiller for sure,im waiting for her to call me back, and hopefully i can get those for free also!!

    Ken, i am a cub dealer, i never ordered just the bearings from cub, i always got them throught our sister store through tisco, and now tisco says that they are NLA!! i cant even get them throught stens, where do you guys get your? Thanks, jeff

    anyone know where i can get the water pump style deck bearings for the newer 42" 44" and 50", i cant even get them from cub cadet with out orderign the whole spindle assy, i looked at stens, and theres are no longer available. Thanks, jeff

    really stupid question here guys, i was told once that you should soak the head gasket on the K-series engines in water, for a couple hours before installing on the engine, and then use the proper torqe. anyone ever hear of this?? your inputs would be very usefull.
