I pulled my stock 122 on 6-3 at the "home" track and managed a second place in the 1050# class (211 ft.). Pulled the same machine at a different track on 6-16, didn't place (180 ft.). The track was much softer and I couldn't get hooked up. I'm sure better weight placement would have helped...

The 42 inch deck on my 123 (cast end), mows better than any of the 48 inchers I used to use. I have a 42 inch for my 127 (not cast end) that mows terribly!

I am needing a choke cable for my 123. I have done a part # search (IH 384884 R91). My question is this cable one of those with plastic threads? I haven't had good luck with the plastic ones and would like to go to an all metal part. Any suggestions on a part #/supplier? I have been to Mr...

Bcorn, it is my understanding that all 1650's were factory equipped with hydraulic lift as well as headlights. Hope this helps.

John, parts are readily available for you carb. In my experience 9 times out of 10 this is caused by a bad needle jet (included in rebuild kit). Other culprits are bad or missadjusted float. See the link above (Chris Westfall), or visit your CC dealer.

Ryan, my understanding on the quantity of springs used in the PTO was relative to horsepower. 10's ans 12's used one spring, 14's used two. If your kit came with two springs I'd use them both.

I fabricated a brace this evening and installed, while in the process of painting the stack. It is pretty light duty, but it gives me a blueprint to build a stronger one. Fortunately the head bolt just behind the exhaust port is a stud, so I didn't have to replace a bolt. I had to leave this...

I think the sheet metal piece on the rearend of the 125 (and others) may have been a safety guard as well as aesthetic. I realize its a long shot to get a body part that far up in the frame tunnel, just a thought.

No brace for the stack as of yet. Haven't figured out a good way to do this, suggestions welcome!

Just snapped this, it's almost there. Got to get some high heat paint tomorrow for the stack. Still need to fab the rest of the front weight bracket, (and bolt the hood on).

As a matter of fact, just last summer my kids wanted Cub pullers like mine. I said they could have them if they helped to build them. We still have one!

My Boys were 8 and 10 then and loved my Tractors. Now, at 12 and 14 they don't have much time for my Hobby.
